Autumn

Hey everybody,
Autumn is finally here! And I couldn't be more excited about it. I absolutely love autumn and everything about it. It's so beautiful to just walk outside, watching the brown and red leaves slowly falling down. Everything starts to get cosy. You can just throw on an oversized jumper and spend the day in your bed, watching your favourite TV-Show ( I can highly recommened Under The Dome. I am absolutely obsessed with it at the moment) , lighting some candles and drink a hot chocolate. How can anyone not love those kind of days? Also it's getting dark outside really early which makes it even more cosy when you come home after a long day at school or work. One of my favourite things to do in autumn is definitely taking a bath, which i've missed so much during summer. And let's be honest, we all can't wait until it starts to get all christmassy in town, can we? So get your jumpers and onesies and blankets out and enjoy this amazing time of the year.

Lot's of love,
Becca xx

I know, this post is really short. I actually wanted to write about my september favourites but my camera didn't work and I didn't have much time to take all the pictures again so I am really sorry. Let me know if you still want me to do it.

Zoella - She Changed My Life

If you don't know who Zoella is: Her name is Zoe Sugg and she is a british youtuber and blogger. And the reason why I am writing a blog post about her is because she's one of the most important people in my life and she has come so far since the first time I watched her videos.

A couple of years ago I started to watch some people making funny videos on Youtube and after a while I found a girl's channel that had around 300.000 subscriber. I spent hours watching her videos because they made me so unbelievably happy even though I was the saddest I have ever been in my entire life. But that's another story. So I enjoyed watching her videos and I impatiently waited every week for her to upload a new one ( I still do it today haha ).
Around that time I startet to get panic attacks and feel uncomortable around beg crowds of people and it got worse every day. Someday I didn't even want to go out with my friends anymore.  I started making up excuses and stayed at home in my room reading or watching TV.
But I new Zoe has the same problem which helped me to feel alot better and less alone. One day she uploaded a Video in which she told us to "Say Yes" to things even though we might not feel comfortable about it. After that I tried my best and I followed her advice. I told my closest friends about my anxiety and what they should do if I started to panic. And that was possibly the best desicion I have ever made.
From that day my life started to get better. Don't get me wrong, I've never been really depressed or anything but I think I was pretty close to it. I still have anxiety Problems today but I now know how to handle them and I have friends that support me. And that wouldn't have been possible without the help of Zoe.

Another reason why Zoe has changed my life is because she has inspired me in so many ways. My biggest dream is to start my own YouTube channel and to make people happy like Zoe made me happy. But to be honest with you I am way to insecure about myself for that. So I don't think I will do it. At least not until I am done with school. But she also inspired me to start my own blog because I love reading hers so much. Now I have something that I have built completely on my own and I have a place where I can share my thoughts and feelings .

But my life isn't the only one that has changed. Zoe has come so far. Of course not only because of me but because of how hard she works to make us happy every day. She's just released her own beauty products (which are called Zoella Beauty) and she also wrote her own book (Girl Online) which is coming out on the 25th of november. and I honestly can't wait to read it. She has now over 6 million subscriber on YouTube and she has won several awards. And she deserves every single one of them. She has worked so hard and helped so many people, including myself, and I am so proud of her even though I don't know her in person.

Zoe is such an amazing and beautiful human being and she is perfect in every single way. I couldn't be luckier to have her as an idol. I will always support her and I love her so much. And I hope that I could tell her all that and say thank you for changing my life.

Lots of love,
Becca xx

I did not make this post to promote her stuff. She obviously doesn't know about this post and I made  it only because I wanted to.

DIY - Pink Dip Dye

Hey there,
A couple of weeks ago I went to the hair dresser and got my Ombré Hair (which basically means that the end of my hair is a lighter colour than the top). I really liked it but I kind of feel like trying out something new at the moment so I thought I'd give it a try and go for a pinky colour.
Since the end of my hair was bleeched already I went for a Dip Dye look which I've been in love with ever since I first saw a picture of it. So if you want to try out something new but you don't want to dye your entire head pink, this is how I did it.
This is what I used:

La Riché Directions: Flamingo Pink
A Hair Colouring Brush
Rubber Gloves
A Bowl
A White Conditioner (only if you want a lighter pink)

You can mix the hair dye with some conditioner if you want your hair to be a lighter pink. But you can only achieve a pastel pink if your hair is almost white so be careful with how light you want to go! Also you only need a little bit of the hair dye for quite a dark mixture. I went for a darker pink because my hair was more golden than white and I wanted the pink to completely cover up my old colour.
After I had a colour that I liked I started "painting" my hair with the brush. I used quite alot because I didn't want the golden shimmer of my hair to come through the pink. When I was done I waited 60 - 80 minutes  (15 minutes are not enough!!!). After that I just ran clear water through it until the water was completely clean.
After I had blow dried my hair I was quite disappointed because the colour didn't come out as I expected. There were different shades of pink and some parts were almost completely blond.
So I decided to repeat the process and this time I used more of the hair dye and less conditioner.
Even though it took a while until I was done I am really happy with the result.

The colour got a bit lighter after I've washed my hair but that depends on how damaged your hair is. So I would recommend a intensive hair treatment before you dye your hair. But other than that I love the colour and I can't wait to try out some other colours.

Lots of love,
Becca xx

P.S.: Thanks to my best friend for taking the pictures x

My First Penny Board

Hello everyone,
so I recently got my very first penny board and I honestly couldn't be happier with it. I wanted to buy one for quite a while now but for some reason I never actually did. But I decided that it was time to change that. So I went on the internet and looked for one that I liked. At first a penny board from the fader collection, which was pink, blue and yellow, catched my eye and to be honest I still think it's super pretty but alot of the comments said that the colour would go off quickly and I didn't want to take the risk and spend so much money on something that I'm not 100% sure about. So I kept looking for another pretty one and I came across these pastel coloured ones which looked so cute. I then chose the peach one because I've been a fan of this colour since I was little. I ordered it and waited impatiently until it arrived. And yes , I did have a bit of a fangirl moment when I finally hold it in my hands because it was so pretty and I absolutely fell in love with it.
So after I was done staring at it I ran outside and started "driving" around. Being a absolut beginner when it comes to skate boards and that kind of thing I must say that riding a penny board is way easier than i thought it would be. I could ride it after one day of practising and I haven't stopped since then. It's super small which makes it so much easier to carry it with you when you're going to town or hanging out with your friends. I basically took it with me wherever I went the last couple of days.
So I can honestly say that I would highly recommend buying a penny board and it's completely worth the money.
I'll put some pictures and some general information down here so that you can see what my penny board looks like.
Lots of love,
Becca xx

Introducing Myself

Hello people of the internet and welcome to my very first blog post! I don't know how you've found my blog but I'm glad you did. Maybe you were just looking for something on the internet and you kind of stumbled over me sitting infront of my computer in a little corner of the internet. I've started this blog because there are alot of ''famous'' blogger that I've been looking up to for a really long time now. And I also got a lot of time to think about what i want to do with my boring life over the summer and i decided it was time for me to try out something new and become a part the blogger community. So here I am, not quite sure how to start but I guess I'll just jump right into it.
My name is Rebecca and I'm 17 years old. As you may or may not have noticed I do not live in a english speaking country which means that I don't speak english fluently. So I hope you won't judge me for any mistakes that I am going to make because this little corner of the internet is supposed to be a place where we're all friends and love each other. Well, that sounds a bit dramatic haha. I just really hope you enjoy reading my blog posts and my mistakes won't bother you too much.
I will basically write about anything that comes to my mind. It could be make-up/beauty related or just some lifestyle stuff or maybe something completely different.
Well, i guess that's all I have to say for now. It would be fun if you lovely people would join me in my cosy little corner and I hope you enjoy reading :-)
Lots of love,
Becca xx
